The executive Committee discussed the plan and issues based on the set objectives and passed the following minutes:

Meeting Minutes Follow Up

1. The meeting minutes of the previous year's executive committee meeting


The Vice-President's minutes on previous PTA meet was adopted unanimously by all members present.


2. The Follow ups were:

  • Giving 'Appreciation Card' to the Students for Projects, Spoken Language, Grammatical Writing and hand writing in English, errorless writing and hand writing in Tamil for each grade together, competitive Child (For Thirukkural, speech, verse writing, acting, painting, dance, soap carving and essay writing)
  • Getting name list for the competitions to be held at district level in the month of August and September and planning for the mode of training to be given.
  • Collecting the admission defects we had in reaching the admission target.


    • Reports:

  • Principal read the admission report of the current academic year.
  • Documents on the details of contact numbers and the ways to increase the admission will be submitted to the Principal for review and will only be printed upon her confirmation.


    • 3. Discussions to be carried out:

  • Election of volunteer parents for “Transport Guide Ambassadors“ and “Children concern Ambassadors“
  • Discussion on getting books/earthern gifts/shield with certificates during the annual day
  • Medical checkup for students: By Homeo college
  • Visiting Hours for Parents & Visitors: 4.00 to 4.30 p.m on working days.
  • Discipline: Check on bringing mobile to school, money and other costly things to school.
  • Field Trips: Planning for the year (one time / per year for a class in the month of October).
  • High-quality academic atmosphere: All the parents are to attend the PTA meet to discuss on the progress of their wards in studies and to suggest ways for improvement. Ensure regular attendance of their wards to keep in touch with the day-to-day touch on curriculum.
  • Curricular Action Plan: To cope with low achievers, average students and bright students remedial classes are to be conducted during the revision hour within the class itself having tutor monitor and student monitor for each low achiever. Giving Retest for the low achievers
  • The probability of coaching for students from VI keeping in mind of the entrance tests (JEE, NEET, IAS) of Professional courses is to be reviewed and if possible,it is to be implemented.
